Today I Have a New Life

Today I have a new life as a financially free and independent soul. Today I take control of my life, believe in my dream, and work every day to make my vision a reality. Today I am in command of my time and actions. Today I believe in myself and my abilities to excel in life and will not let anything stop me. Today I will think of ways to save money and always remind myself that I control my paycheck and the shame of making money no longer has power over me. Continue reading

The Sheriff is Coming

The only foes that threaten America are the enemies at home, and these are ignorance, superstition and incompetence. — Elbert Hubbard

I haven’t posted a new blog in a month now, and I don’t even know where to begin with this one. So much has happened this last month I am beginning to doubt I live in America any more. I have never seen a Congress, Supreme Court, or Administration so determined to destroy America and the American Dream as this current crop of elected criminals are. And they are criminals. Their actions prove it over and over again. And of course these actions are totally supported by the Benedict Arnold Propaganda Machine (BAPM), formerly known as the main stream media. Continue reading

Politicians and Individual Power

To know your limits is a state of self-delusion. — Bill Purdin

Do you know how much power you have? Contrary to your own belief you have been given a great amount of power just for being you. Unfortunately most of us don’t know how to, or refuse to apply our power to enhance our lives. Continue reading

Being Different

Learning to live what you’re born with is the process, the involvement, the making of a life. — Diane Wakoski

Are you different? Some of you may say yes, some say no, and the rest… well the rest don’t know what to think. Rest assure, you are different, each and every one of you. Continue reading

Being Special

Today, there are three kinds of people: the have’s, the have-not’s, and the have-not-paid-for-what-they-have’s. — Earl Wilson

Do you know how special you are? Some of you do, some of you don’t, and some of you don’t even have a clue. Continue reading

Answers: Part 1 Conservatism

They say the world has become too complex for simple answers. They are wrong. — Ronald Reagan

I’m going to do a multi-part blog in that the answer for each part may be too long to be resolved in one setting. I like to keep the blogs to 1,500 words or less but this topic I am broaching will exceed that length, of that I am sure. Continue reading

The Shades of Doubt

The divine guidance often comes when the horizon is the blackest. — Mohandas Karamchand (Mahatma) Gandhi

Thoughts enter the mind late at night telling you, no screaming at you to stop what you are doing! What makes you think you, YOU, can succeed? Why are you even trying? There are smarter people than you and you have the audacity to think you can make something of yourself? Continue reading

Changes

Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. — Leo Tolstoy

Life is full of changes, some good, some bad, but always changes. How we adjust and adapt to the changes is what really defines us. Sometimes however others force change upon us, changes which are indeed bad for us but good for them. Continue reading

Stealing from the Poor

People who make excuses cause all of the world’s woes, or make them worse.
— Bill Purdin

The following text is from the “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Wattle. Written over a hundred years ago this little book is more important than ever. I added the word “she” because this topic effects both male and female.

WHATEVER MAY BE SAID IN PRAISE OF POVERTY, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. No one can rise to his/her greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he/she has plenty of money, for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he/she must have many things to use, and he/she cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with.Continue reading

Avoidance

A typical vice of American politics is the avoidance of saying anything real on real issues. — Theodore Roosevelt

I noticed our beloved Congress has avoided the fiscal cliff, or so the mendacious main stream media would have you believe. Too bad you can’t trust the main stream media with the truth. And what is the truth? Hell I don’t know, there are so many lies floating around out there it appears the truth has been buried and lost. So I may not know exactly what the truth is but I can observe and report my observations to you. Continue reading
