My Thoughts

I want to thank you, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this post. I know that you have other things you could be doing but I want to ask you some questions:

  • Is what you want to do helping you increase your bank account?
  • Are you out of work and frustrated at not being able to find a job?
  • Are you concerned at where your next meal is coming from and how you are going to feed your family?

Oh sure you say, G you have a job and you’re not worried about the real things of life.

While it’s true I have a job I have been out of work for months at a time. And this before all the current mess started, so yes I completely understand the concern. And my job is not 100% safe. It never will be.

I say that to say this: the only security we have in this life, and this economy is dependent upon each of us, the individual. Government, no matter what they say or how they twist the words, cannot, and will never be able to protect you or your future. The only thing Government can do, and do effectively is destroy your life. And I think politicians have done a great job of doing just that.

The purpose of this blog is to provide thoughts for your consideration. I am going to do this by giving examples, examples from my own life, examples and reasons that has caused me to feel like a complete and utter failure, not to mention a complete moron at times.

The reason I use me is because I know me, and I am only qualified to discuss me. How can I help you if I can’t even help me?

However, and here is the bright spot in all this mess, I found that I and I alone control my destiny. It’s been a very hard lesson to learn, but learn it I have. In this blog I am going to share what I have learned and how I have learned the lessons I have. Over the course of time I intend to share these lessons with you, so that you may consider options you may have never thought about before. And of course you are always free to decline and disregard my thoughts.

To be sure I am not rich and I may never be, but I can be independent. I can be self-sufficient, but only if I really want to be. This is the main lesson I learned from my own stupidity, and this is the lesson I want to share with you.

So, you have a choice, join me on this journey or simply go your own way. I hope you join me as I expose my soul to the world so that I can not only help me help me, but maybe, just maybe help you in the process.

Whatever, it should prove to be interesting.
