Transitions

History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. — Martin Luther King, Jr.

This is my last post for 2012. As I write this I’m not exactly sure what I want to say but I’m sure I’ll figure it out as I place each word on the page.

As I look back on 2012 I leave the year with mixed feelings. It was both good and bad, but I suppose you could say that for every year which passes. However when you reach our age the years seem to fly faster than normal. I know it’s a perception and not a reality but it sure feels real and as you approach the “golden” years you will know exactly what I mean. (My grandfather told me the same thing when I was a kid and I thought “whatever.” Boy was I wrong.)

I do not know what Divine Providence has in store for me, shoot I don’t even know if I’ll make it to the Pearly Gates. But I do know this, as long as I breath these last breaths I must do my best to encourage you to become your best, to be the best you can be and imagine yourself to be.

Now it may sound like I’m dying but rest assure I’m not. No, it’s just that when you reach 60 plus years of age your prospective changes, at least it should. Things that you cared about, or didn’t care about in the past when you were young seems to reappear in different, yet familiar formats. I guess that is the way life is suppose to be, each generation must relearn the mistakes of the past, but sometimes that re-education comes at a tremendous cost.

As a nation we are about to re-enter an era not seen since the 20’s, long before most of us were even born. Yet as humans we refuse to learn from the past or we hide the past from future generations in order to empower ourselves at the expense of the youth. History will not be kind to us of the baby boom generation because it was, and is all about me, me, and me. What’s in it for me? That is the driving question for my generation.

I had doubts before that this nation could become so “me” centered but the election of 2012 changed my mind for good. Now I know we are a selfish, self-centered bunch of spoiled brats and Divine Providence (DP) has decided we shall be taught a lesson in manners and gratitude. Yeah, our hell on Earth is just beginning and DP is using our own politicians against us.

Yet I know there are individuals in this country who love this land and our way of life and they will not standby and do nothing. I am one of those. I can’t do a lot but I can do something so this website and blog is my way of engaging others to leave the trap of liberalism and open your eyes to a different way of life.

Liberalism has taken its toll on this nation and even the world. It does not work but it does empower selected individuals who in turn use their liberal skills to enslave their fellow man. Slavery is alive and well only the new term is “Progressive.” (Liberalism by any name is still liberalism.)

By design the lure of utopia is liberalism’s greatest tool. Clean water, clean air, a clean environment, who can be against such things? Thus the progressive agenda has learned to apply fear and then manipulation to those who are weak in mind and spirit. This was accomplished by dumbing down our education system and removing God from the national stage. Which leads us to…

Cause and Effect, the law of the universe which is responsible for every scientific achievement, and in fact every element and convenience we now take for granted. Did you know at one time cells phones and television did not exist? I can remember that time, but now those items are taken for granted all because of the law of Cause and Effect.

The same law which has implemented achievement has also implemented our downfall. And don’t think for a minute this country will last forever. Liberals will oversee its destruction and then celebrate our demise. Do you remember how the Middle East celebrated when the towers fell? Interesting correlation is it not?

Liberalism is the cancer that eats at the healthy cells of life. Like cancer it weakens the body and eventually the body, known as the nation will die. And it will die a horrible and tragic death, a death created by the liberal agenda of politicians and endorsed by the main stream media.

Can we change our fate? Sure we can, the question should be: Do we want to change our fate? The apparent answer is no, if the last election provides any indication. It seems free Obamaphones are more important than quality of life, to steal from those who work and disperse to those who refuse to work. The war on wealth has just begun and the liberal elites, from Hollywood to Washington has ensured they will be immune from the fallout they are creating. Do you really think that a Hollywood elitist will part ways from his or her wealth? I don’t think so but these same people demand that you do.

It brings up the questions: When was the last time a poor person gave you a job? When was the last time a poor person gave you their money? When was the last time a poor person gave you hope?

Never happens but a liberal will respond with: “Are you still beating your wife?”

Huh? I must be dense, but I suspect only a liberal can understand liberal speak. And liberals are very, very good at liberal speak.

Of course the main stream media adds gasoline to the fire of liberalism. These entities are the true traitors to our country as they gave up their right to the protections of the First Amendment a long time ago.

Free Obamaphones does not put food on the table, they have food stamps for that. But what happens when the food stamps are no more? That day is coming and sooner than you think. So what to do, what to do.

The basic answer is simple: Self-respect, self-reliance, and proven principles will lead you from the approaching darkness you are creating, rather you are allowing to be created. There is no reason for a fiscal cliff except liberalism demands sacrifice. The sacrifice of your soul, placed upon the alter of Liberalism, and your heart cut out by today’s liberals. In fact you could make the case that the Mayan’s of yesterday were extremely compassionate (when they sacrificed their victims) compared to the liberals of today.

The proven principles I refer to are the conservative, NOT Republican, principles of life. The difference between conservative and Republican can be compared to noon and midnight. Of course the Democrats are all about “compassion” which is why they love to murder unborn babies, kill children, and destroy lives.

BUT don’t forget your free Obamaphone! Now that’s compassion!

I do not know what 2013 will bring to my family and myself, but I do know I must work to minimize the negative effects which will soon be upon us. I can do nothing less. And one more thing – I do not need a politician telling me how to live my life.

That is why this website and blog exist. I challenge you to transition from liberalism, the path of death, to the light of self-respect and self-reliance. It is a transition you will not regret.

Happy New Year and I pray you will enjoy many more – but I’m not holding my breath.
