I transcend earthly bounds. I never cease to amaze myself because I haven’t yet found my limits. I am quite ready to accept the limits of what I can do, but every time I feel that way – boom! – God touches me and I do something that’s even more stupendous than whatever I’ve done up to then. — Don King
I am constantly amazed at everything life throws at us. I never really thought about it until recently and the more I think about it the more amazed I become.
There are many elements of life we take for granted. We don’t even give them a second thought until something happens which forces us to pay attention. One such element is electricity.
Electricity is an amazing element but one we all take for granted, until the lights go out. Think about it. What does it take to make electricity? How does it work? Why does it work? Now granted we don’t need to know all these answers in order to use it, all we do is flip a switch and there it is: Light.
Yet did you know that there is a specific law that electricity follows in order to work? Can you tell me what that law is?
Another element we take for granted is gravity. We don’t think about this force until we fall down or walk off a cliff by keeping our head up our phone. Then we think about it a lot, if we survive the fall. So again how does gravity work? Why does it work? What is the law which governs the force of gravity and why does it exist?
Laws govern our lives and the forces of nature which affect our lives. There are many laws contained within the universe which affect our behavior and our lives, both present and future. These are known as “Natural” laws and there are many of them. Some are more forceful and obvious than others but all affect us at some point in our life.
Yet there is another law no one wants to face, a law so hideous, so destructive we would rather ignore it than take it head on. This is the law of Political Correctness.
This law is man-made and abhorrent to Natural law. It destroys everything it touches which is why I am amazed it has lasted so long. The basic question is why has it lasted this long? And the answer is simple: Liberalism.
Liberalism depends upon only one thing to survive, and that element is emotion. Since the human population is 100 percent emotional it is extremely easy for liberalism to not only survive, but thrive. Hence those humans who have learned how to harness the power of emotion, creates some very powerful arguments in favor of political correctness. And some, if not most, of these arguments cannot be disputed.
Yet as with all things there is a limit to how much political correctness is enough. The liberals, elites, and democrats (small d intended) have decided that political correctness has not gone far enough and more stringent matters must be engaged in order to “get the people’s mind correct.”
Excuse me if I disagree with that mode of thinking but who put these people in charge of the thinking brigade? They don’t have the right to tell me what or how to think. Hence they have overstepped their authority and have declared themselves the arbiters of thinking. Think like they do, no problem. Disagree with them and all hell breaks loose. Why?
The answer is as old as mankind: Power.
Like the dictators of the world the liberals/elites/democrats (LEDS) believe, with all their cold heart that they and only they deserve to control the people of this country. These LEDS know how to live your life better than you do. So they tell you what to think, when to think, how to dress, what to wear, what to eat and not eat, where to go to school, what to study, what kind of car to drive, although they prefer you take the bus, and what kind of home to live in.
Now we have complete and total evidence of the type of life this mentality leads to: San Francisco and Detroit. And we can throw in Chicago for good measure. So if you really enjoy this type of existence by all means move to one of these cities and be content and happy in your misery. Yes sir Bob, go for it.
But… like all of liberalism and political correctness “Do what I say and not what I do.”
In other words LEDS live the great life while you live in filth and squalor. And of course you pay for their lifestyle. And the LEDS are amazed that Donald Trump got elected.
The laws of the universe are amazing and they work for or against you. Political correctness uses these laws to your detriment, but the basic element here is the LEDS utilize and apply these laws for their own benefit.
You see the laws work for good or evil. They are completely neutral and unbiased. We normal individuals out here have not learned how to apply these laws to enhance our life. If we know about them we just apply them for a day or two and when nothing happens we give up and declare them worthless.
Sorry that is not how it works. You see the laws require specific actions in order to operate and they utilize their own timeline not yours, and not mine. You must follow the laws explicitly, because if you don’t you pay the price.
Example: You are driving down the street and approach a stop sign. You see it but decide to ignore it this time. Normally you stop, but not today. Today you will violate the stop sign because you don’t feel like stopping. So you run it. Then you find yourself receiving a ticket for your actions.
The laws of success, the laws of the universe, natural law (same thing different names) all work the same. Disobey them you pay a price. Obey them to the letter you receive the reward. Now granted it may take years for this to occur but you will receive the reward, however like Melville it could be long after your death.
Well that sucks. Yeah big time, tell me about it, but that is the way of life, the way life works. All we can do is our best and let the universe handle the rest. Still the upside of doing our best, regardless of reward can be very satisfying. It’s all a matter of attitude.
Political correctness, a man-made element, will not permit any such feeling. To be politically correct you must be miserable. Every day. Every second of the day. All year long. Political correctness demands misery.
So me… well I’ve decided to do my best, to try and live within the laws of the universe, to be happy. But being happy does not mean I have to be content. Far from it. To be happy means to strive and achieve elements suitable to my life. That means, for me, feeling the warmth of Divine Providence within my soul, to feel the love of my family, to be better today than I was yesterday. And to forgive my mistakes with prayer and self-determination to do and become better.
Not an easy tasks by any means, but one worth pursuing because there is no way in hell I can be politically correct.
What I find truly amazing is the following question: Why do people want to be miserable, to live a life of misery? What motivates them to this lifestyle?
I think I know the answer and in a future post I may indulge myself to share it with you. But for right now, today, I challenge you to leave political correctness behind, if only for an hour. You may be amazed at what you discover about yourself.
