Time in a Concept

When I look back at the timeline for my website I discover that it has not moved an inch since October 2014. I have many excuses for this but not a valid reason. I just let time get away from me, or another way of putting it is I mismanaged my time.

We all have 24 hours in a day. No more, no less. How we use that 24 hours is entirely up to each of us. This is where time management comes into play because once that second, minute, hour is gone it can never be returned, we can never recover it hence we must manage it.

Time management is NOT an option IF one is to reach their full potential. Watching mindless TV, playing video games, and other worthless pursuits kills time in a most egregious manner. While down time and relaxation is just as critical to good mental health as work is, mismanagement of down time can and does rob us of our potential.

Many of us do not use time, the limited amount of time we have, wisely. I fully realize that I mismanage my time and as I grow older I also realize that I am running out of lifetime. I wasted so much time in my youth, time I should have spent more wisely.

It is not too late for me to manage my time and I attempt to do so every day. It is not easy, but it is doable. All it really takes is desire for a better life and the discipline to make it happen.

But those are topics for another time.
