Privacy Policy

Who am I

I am just a regular man who loves this country. I was born here, well specifically Texas. It has been said you can take the man out of Texas, but you can’t take Texas out of the man. And this is very true, as my wife constantly reminds me.

I speak a little more about me and my qualifications on the About page, if you’re interested.

Of Note

This is the main privacy policy of the GPMCC universe. My blog sites mirror this page but may not include a complete policy statement. If in doubt always refer to this site/page for the latest privacy notice/information.

Introduction

Privacy laws are changing and that is a good thing thanks to Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Policy dictates the standard we adhere to. As you read the contents of this site you consent to these standards. While these regulations are directed at the European nations, with the internet being global they really affect everyone with a website.

When I first found out about these changes my first thought was more government regulation, but the more I got into the regulation the more I found myself agreeing with it.

Many companies have abused the privilege of supplying their customers with proper service by selling your private information, without your consent, to other entities, like Facebook and Twitter.

Since Elon Musk acquired Twitter, now X, that cesspool is in the midst of changing. Hence at some point I may have to re-engage with the X universe. The same is true of Facebook. In fact, if I want this website to spread, I will have to re-engage with these entities. My only question is “when”. The later the better, for me.

My Blogs

I have two blogs, the Main Blog and the Quick Blog. Each blog is different and contains different data. The main blog is where I give my opinions on how politicians/elites are controlling our lives.

The Quick Blog is a “whatever I think about” blog. It can contain a variety of topics/information which you may or may not find interesting.

I also have an archive of blogs I have written over the years. There was too much data to eliminate them, simpler to archive them.

Each of these blogs can be accessed via the menu bar and opens it its own tab/window.

Your Privacy

Except for products we may sell, we do NOT attempt to obtain information from you at any time for any reason. In the future this may change as GPMCC changes. If that happens this privacy policy will change accordingly, most notably if we decide to create an email list, which at the present time we don’t have.

Comments

At the present moment I do not allow comments on this site. My opinions are my own and I am too old and set in my ways to be distracted by worthless comments and spam. I like comments, I post many on different websites, which is why I know just how annoying they can be.

Not all comments are worthless, many have valid, very valid, points. It is those I pay attention to. Still, at the present time, on this website, many comments are a nuisance, one I want to avoid. Add the fact that I am a one-man band I don’t have time to monitor comments.

At some point in the future this policy may change, but for now I see no reason to allow comments, as I know I am going to make a lot of leftist, maybe even you, mad and irritated. Hence, I don’t have time, nor the desire, to endure this concept.

Cookies

WordPress may use cookies for various reasons, but GPMCC does not. Nor do we use advertising pop-ups or other annoying gimmicks when you visit us. I believe in a clean website and want to keep it that way.

Overall I don’t like cookies. Yes I know they are advantageous in some areas, but for me, and in a general sense, they are more of a pain than useful. So GPMCC does not go out of its way to use these things.

There may come a time when I have to, and if that time comes, I will change this Privacy notice as appropriate.

Pop-ups/Modals

As this site matures I may use some type of pop-up/modal for data I feel you may be interested in, but if I do you will have to click on it to activate it. I don’t like automatic pop-ups, never have, never will.

The AI Factor

I’m not a big fan of AI. It has its uses and place within the world, but I think the hype is premature. The speed at which it is being created is a little, rather a lot, concerning. We need to slow down and really think about this technology. Hence, I’m not caught up in the AI bubble. I like to think about what I am doing and not let some machine do the thinking for me. That approach is irresponsible and dangerous. Besides I’m “old school” where AI never had a place in my learning. Why should it now.

I’m not saying I’m never going to use AI, but at this time I don’t find it very useful. Yet as I write these words the program is completing my sentences for me. It is helpful I admit but I also end up changing the recommended sentence quite often.

At the appropriate time I may use the concepts of AI to create content, but I have not crossed that bridge yet. In fact, at this moment in time and space I don’t even see that bridge.

Embedded Links

I have some embedded links to other websites you might be interested in. Each link opens in a new tab/window and the associated links have their own private policy/cookie section. I am not responsible for that, as I just provide a shortcut to some interesting websites. I also don’t make money (at the present time at least) of recommending them. They are interesting and worth checking out. If you so desire.

Our Products

At some point I will monetize GPMCC, at least enough to break even. That concept is on the event horizon and will happen, the only question is when.

I do have some digital products (eBooks) I intend to sell but I use EJunkie for that purpose. There is some data collected from the buyer, however that information is kept strictly confidential and never used or circulated in any way.

EJunkie host our products but the actual monetary issues are handled by PayPal. PayPal collects the necessary information for the purchase via a secured server. Please refer to the PayPal privacy policy for additional information.

Sharing Data

Except as mentioned above we don’t collect, keep or share individual data as we don’t, at this time, have a desire to maintain or keep such information. We don’t even offer a mailing list; however, I reserve the right to change this policy if I see fit and if it becomes necessary.

Affiliates

Sometimes we apply and offer a link to our affiliates. We cannot control the data our affiliates collect from you hence you should read their privacy statements when you visit them.

Copyright

Everything I write on these pages falls under the copyright laws. The words and thoughts here are mine and mine alone. In short, I assume all responsibility for everything I write. I also give credit where credit is due and will always, to the best of my ability, acknowledge any source that I use.

Changes, Changes, Changes

I reserve the right to change anything on my website and blogs at any time. Rest assured, as this new version of GPMCC matures, changes will be the only constant. Growth the desired outcome.

In Conclusion

My mission is to encourage you to take control of your life by being aware of the politics involved in it. If you don’t, someone else will, probably some political fraction you may or may not agree with. That is an undisputed fact. You may not like politics and want nothing to do with it, but politics is definitely interested in you. In the general scheme of things that is someplace you do not want to be but are being forced into.

Helping you become aware is why I designed and developed this website. But be warned, as the world changes I will have to change this website as needed. That in turn, will result in a change to this policy page.

And politicians call this progress. Yeah, right.
