But this flu bug is really nasty. I’m in good health and it kicked me on my ass, which is saying something. It knocked me out of work for over a week, placing all my work on hold.<\/p>\n

I have been out of it longer than I like and even now I am not 100%. I say again this bug is bad, and yes I had the flu shot but it has proven to be worthless this year.<\/p>\n

Not only has this bug proven to be bad but it puts a hold on everything because the only thing one can think about is getting better. Even now I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone, floating between reality and fantasy. Not to mention the weird and strange dreams. It’s a place I don’t like to be and I am working, rather resting a lot to get away from it. And rest is required to leave this land of confusion and haziness.<\/p>\n

If you have this thing take care of yourself. Get plenty of rest (if possible) and drink lots of water. I also recommend the orange juice if you can handle it. It helped me a lot, but do what is best for you.<\/p>\n

The bottom line, take care of yourself. Consider others and don’t spread this thing. Wash your hands regularly. Cover your mouth when you cough, and don’t hesitate to see a doctor. I went to the emergency room and I’m glad I did as my temp was well over 101, and my normal temp is 97.<\/p>\n

Don’t mess with this thing, it can and does kill.<\/p>\n
