Learning from Nature

Home of the Main Blog

Welcome to the Main GPMCC blog. Here you will find my opinions on many topics, especially concerning politics and the political parties. And I have a lot to say about them. Mostly critical, but every once in a while, the elected officials surprise me and do something good. Sometimes very good. Not very often, but even a broken clock is correct twice a day. And when, or if, that happens I will call it out, if appropriate. But don’t hold your breath. So far our elected officials have done nothing to stand out, especially the Republicans.

This blog is an offshoot of my main website, GPMCC.com. From the main website, this site opens in its own tab/window and is a standalone entity. It is related to the Quick Blog, but that content varies wildly and is normally not associated with this site. Each site serves a unique purpose, and I try not to mingle the two. Refer back to the main website, GPMCC. com for a more detailed explanation. For convenience you can access the Quick Blog here.

My Opinions

I am an independent conservative. I used to be a Republican and before that a dimocrat. I was dim in those days, but I learned as I grew older. It was Jimmy Carter who turned me into a Republican, but it was Rush Limbaugh who converted me into a Conservative.

When the Republican Party threw me, and others like me, under the bus during the Obama/Romney election I changed party affiliation from Republican to Independent. I have never regretted that decision.

While it is true I am an Independent it is also true I vote Republican. But I vote for the candidate, not the party and if I give money, I give to the candidate not the party. The Republican party, as a whole, has become, actually it has been for many years, spineless, yellow-bellied wimps of gargantuan abundance.

Granted there are a few Republicans who have the fortitude of steel, but they are few and far between. Hence their voice is often drowned out by those who claim “Muh principles” are more important than the welfare of the country. I am convinced that the “Muh principles” crowd is going to destroy this country and get us killed in the process unless things change, like now. Tomorrow is too late.

Notice I have not discussed the Democrats yet, but I will, all in due time. But here is a hint: If I find disfavor with the Republicans, just imagine my displeasure with the dimocrats.

It is important to remember the golden rule of dimocrats:

The politician who cheats the best wins.

Accountability Begins with You

The pages in these blogs are geared towards the foundation of helping you improve yourself. It is you who must begin the change, if you want a better life, a better tomorrow, a future for your children. Your voting actions will determine if the American experiment lives or dies.

Ben Franklin said it best:

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

If we don’t hold ourselves accountable, we will lose all. It is a mathematical certainty. Time is the only unknow factor, and it is not working in our favor.

It is my hope you find these blogs informative and helpful. However, you must find it within yourself, your soul, to excel in your own future. I can’t do it for you; I can only suggest a plan of action. You must do the work to make life better, not only for your immediate family but future generations as well.

I would wish you luck, but luck is what you make of it. And you have the power within yourself to make a lot of good luck.
