For a Short Year…

A very short year. Each year as I get older the years get shorter. I remember when I was a kid the days would never end, now they are way too short.

As I write this it is Christmas time 2015, the time for miracles, the special time of the year, the magical time of the year. But no matter how much spin the political entities put on current events, the bottom line is: Politicians don’t give a damn about America. This is proven by the latest budget deal.

So let me get this straight:

  • Terrorist want to kill us
  • Liberals want to welcome the terrorist into the motherland
  • Republicans just added more debt, less safety, and more regulations to our lives
  • Climate change is more dangerous than terrorism
  • Healthcare is a disaster
  • The President is off to Hawaii for a 70 million dollar, tax payer funded vacation
  • But the government didn’t shut down, yippee

What a relief. For awhile I thought we were in real danger from climate change. It’s good to know that terrorism is no longer a major concern. Wait… What about San Bernardino?

What 2016 offers is yet to be seen but whatever it is I am sure it will contain elements of 2015. I can hardly wait.

At any rate Merry Christmas everyone, but it is hard to be optimistic when your own government wants you dead.
