Because I develop my own website I have to test each change in various browsers. Hence I have the main ones loaded: Firefox, IE, Chrome, Opera, and Safari. Well one thing is for sure, in my humble opinion, and my opinion ONLY, Safari and Opera ARE PIECES OF JUNK!
Really, how do these two browsers even operate efficiently. Both are difficult to use, Safari is always crashing, at least with me and Opera, how the hell do you find anything on Opera? Really no Home key/icon in Opera? No toolbar? No menubar? Give me a break. No home page? Unreal. And the developers call it progress. And Safari… well that is designed mostly for MACs I must assume as it works horrible on a Windows machine. At least that has been my experience.
Firefox is my preferred browser with IE a close second. I have used IE for years but lately even that browser is leaving a lot to be desired. But it is better, in my opinion much better, far better, a universe better than Safari and Opera combined.
Why is it when companies try to improve things they always screw it up and make it far more difficult. I know my website is difficult to navigate, well more like confusing so I am working to un-confuse me. It takes work and attention to detail to get things right, and mistakes do happen. But to intentionally screw it up? Sorry.
Browsers can do better but like Obamacare sometimes they just aren’t ready for the big time.
Just a thought. (And I wonder just how many people I made mad with this post?)
