Thoughts

Follow the path of the unsafe, independent thinker. Expose your ideas to the dangers of controversy. Speak your mind and fear less the label of ‘crackpot’ than the stigma of conformity. And on issues that seem important to you, stand up and be counted at any cost. — Thomas J. Watson

This post is a little different from my regular posts in that I am going to discuss more than one item, instead of concentrating on only one train of thought. I want to begin with:

Regrets

We all have regrets of one kind or another. For me, while I have many regrets, one constantly stands out among all the others: I don’t spend my time wisely.

That is strange you may say, but consider this: time is our most precious resource but we constantly waste it. We think we have all the time in the world when the reality is we don’t. We are only here on this plane of existence for just a few short years and most of us constantly squander those years on foolish and wasteful pursuits.

I’m not saying that working all the time is a good thing, on the contrary working constantly is a health hazard. We need a break, if for nothing more than to rest the mind, but when one is constantly “on break” then we are not only wasting time we are short-changing ourselves in the process.

I work roughly 50 hours a week at a regular job that I love. I then come home and work another two or three hours for myself. My problem is I’m not using these two or three hours efficiently, thus I feel I am not being productive. I could do better, and I know I could but I tend to “work” on items which are not extremely productive for me but gives me the illusion I am busy. Then when I sit down the next morning and think about what I accomplished the night before, well I know I could have done better but didn’t. Hence my regret.

Yet this is not always the case. Sometimes I use my available time very efficiently and I do get a lot of valuable work done. I guess my real regret is I am inconsistent with the use of my free time, but it is something I am constantly working on. Pun intended.

As for my other regrets, they are many but I cannot do a damn thing to change their outcome. Thus I can only concentrate on the items I can control, and time management is one of those items.

Divide and Conquer

We are no longer a unified nation. Like in the days of Lincoln we are divided into two main groups – those who take from others what they have not earned, and those who cherish creating, growing, and expanding their God given talents.

This later group has been demonized by politicians and the Benedict Arnold’s (formerly known as the main-stream media) as the ones who steal from the poor. Yes the politicians and BA’s have done an excellent job of dividing the country, so much so that for the first time in my life the talk of succession is becoming a very serious subject. How can one president, one political party divide a nation so successfully? The answer of course is in the topic of education. And the lawyers had a whole lot to do with it as well.

So why divide the country? How else can one party become a dictatorship. California has just elected their first dictators, thus this state is in for a very rude awakening. But the people get what they vote for and the people of this country voted for Santa Claus and dictatorship. So be it.

However be it known the last time succession was discussed we had a civil war, but that war was to right a wrong: Slavery, the enslavement of one people over another. If we have another succession we will be righting another wrong: Slavery. Only this time we will be freeing ourselves from the slavery of government tyranny.

For two hundred years this country has been blessed by Divine Providence, but now He has turned His back on us because we the people have turned our back on Him. Israel has experienced this concept many times over during the course of its existence. While the state of Israel will never disappear from the face of the earth, it can be enslaved. So can America.

In order to destroy the country as founded the politicians of today have systematically destroyed the Constitution and will of the people. We don’t have freedom; we have the illusion of freedom. We the people are the slaves of the federal government and we did this deed to ourselves, with our own blessing. California is the prime example.

The price we about to pay cannot be described because we as a nation have never had to endure the pain and suffering many of us are about to experience, especially in California. The only thing this author can do is work extra hard to manage the fiscal cliff we are about to go over.

  • So how will I do that? Well for starters I know I need new money coming into my life and to obtain this goal I must realize some specific truths:
  • I must give glory to Divine Providence and thank Him for all my blessings. I must remember to live my life the way He wants me to.
  • I must remember that I control my destiny, not some politician.
  • I must engage in activities which help others overcome their doubts and encourage them to become better than they think they are. This website is prime example of my commitment to this goal.
  • I must better myself, I must believe in myself, and I must have absolute faith that the actions I am taking are in harmony with the will of Divine Providence.
  • I must have patience. A lot of patience. Yet I must never falter in my desire for a better life.
  • I must engage my mind in positive thought and fight against the negative issues of the day. Let me tell you this is not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. In fact this one issue is perhaps the most difficult of all the issues I am describing here.
  • I must constantly learn new things and stretch my mind to new concepts and realities. Learning does not stop upon graduation but is a continuous journey one must take in order to achieve success. And success in NOT a dirty word contrary to popular belief.
  • I must hold myself accountable for every aspect of my life, both good and bad. Every action I take or don’t take, I am responsible for. Once I accept this truth only then can I move beyond my self-imposed limitations.
  • I must realize that the only person holding me back is me. I cannot allow myself to be influenced by politicians and main-stream media lies. If I want a better life I must work for it, the keyword being “work”.

These are just a few of the items I must accept and deal with on a daily basis. And I am. I know I will obtain the success in life I want, someday. My problem is I get so damn frustrated because someday is not coming soon enough. Well I have to accept it and work that much smarter. I said smarter not necessarily harder.

Success and riches are not built by backbone alone, it never has been, and it never will be. Success and riches are obtained via the mental capacity, also known as the human brain. However today the politicians and BA’s have destroyed the process of individual thought and have convinced half of this nation that Santa Claus, also known as the Obamaphone, is the only “fair” way to live. After all the “rich” have stolen your wealth, only you are too stupid to realize it. Thus you need government to ensure fairness, all in the name of compassion of course. Which brings up a question: When was the last time a poor person gave you a job?

Hard work, belief in yourself and your abilities are so old fashion in today’s environment. Why work when the government can give you what you never earned? The end result of this philosophy is a divided nation, a nation which cannot stand and must fall.

So my question is what happens when it does fall? What will happen to you and to your family? Science fiction is about to become fact maybe you should watch all those “fallen” country movies which Hollywood is so famous for exploiting.

Expanding the Mind

Lately I have taken to learning some new subjects. I do this via a website known as Lynda.com. Lynda.com has a lot of subjects which one can learn at their own leisure. The price is reasonable, $25.00 a month and yearly subscriptions are available which can save you a few dollars.

Learning new things is the elixir of youth. In high school and college we are taught “book” methods and “theories” of how life should work. The problem with is this type of learning, while useful, is not reality. The real world demands results and it rewards those results accordingly.

In the political world these results are paid for with our taxes, taking from us and imposing theories which have no basis in reality. Most politicians have never had a real job in their life. In fact they could not survive in the real world thus they need our hard earned money to impose their “wisdom” on the rest of us. The result is the fiscal cliff we are now facing.

With websites like Lynda.com you can actually learn real life subjects. In this regard these types of websites are more akin to Vocational training rather than theory learning. While there are limitations to the topics covered they do provide you with the “basic fundamentals” of the subject matter. You can then expand on the topic with advanced lessons (if offered) or hit the library or book stores for additional material. The point is you are taught something which you can use in your life, and which could influence your earning curve.

Expanding the mind into new topics and subjects can be exhilarating and very rewarding. As I said I am constantly learning new material and applying what I learn to my daily life. For example my latest training session cover three distinct areas: JavaScript, Marketing Fundamentals, and Computer Generated Graphics. Each is intense and I admit I may have bitten off more than I can chew right now. Still I enjoy the sessions immensely.

If you want to grow as a human being then you need to learn as much as you can on those topics which interest you. Learn and grow as an American or become an Obamanite and wither, wilt, and beg for the crumbs of an existence. It is your choice, and your life.

Last Thoughts

Life is meant to be enjoyed and lived to the fullest. If you let a politician and the main-steam media dictate how you should live then you deny yourself the joy of living. If you listen to liberals and Democrats you open yourself into accepting the lies and manipulation the elitist place upon you.

You are so much better than that. You need to think for yourself. You need to separate political fiction from reality. You should have the courage to use your mind so the universe and all the goodness this world has to offer can be laid at your feet. Like God meant for it to be.

Or you can choose the Obamaphone and all the freebies government demands you accept. Yet nothing is ever free and you, the receiver of the Obamaphone and other handouts are doomed to a life of poverty and misery.

The choice of how you live your life is yours, delusion or reality. Many liberals are experts at deluding you and enticing you with lies and more lies.

In conclusion of this post there are two terms with explanations you need to be aware of: Conservative and Liberal. Notice I did not say Republican and Democrat as there is a difference. I define the terms as follows:

Liberal: An individual who entices you with feelings, to feel good about helping others. It’s not about actually helping others, just to feel good about helping others. Liberals believe that murdering unborn babies is the “normal” way of life. Liberals are experts at manipulating the feelings of others, especially when it enhances their bottom line. I give you the Hollywood elites as prime examples.

Conservative: An individual who has learned that feelings alone don’t, and will never put food on the table, only good honest work does that. Conservatives have learned to overcome emotions and actually produce a service or product which makes life better for all people. Conservatives believe that you are a valuable human being and your contributions to life matter.

How you live your life is your decision. I choose to live mine free. If you choose slavery, well that is your choice.
