The Act of Nothingness

Life is full of obstacle illusions. — Grant Frazier

Words for this article seems to escape me this time, for some reason I can’t concentrate on what I want to say. Oh I have plenty to say, about a lot of topics, but this time… this time I feel out of touch for some reason. Maybe as I write something will come to me.

As I look at the Drudge Report and read the headlines I am wondering if I am mad or just totally insane. Apparently both as I cannot understand how the “enlightened” among us can support any of the situations I have read about over the last few days. From late night “comedians?” to Russian anchors, to an old man riding a bicycle then getting shot with a stun gun and dying. What sense does it all make? Sadly I must reply none. But then I remember who is in charge of the country and it all makes perfect sense. I must admit however, the liberals do have an excellent spin machine which really works wonder for the illiterate among us.

Your Final Breakthrough uses the latest discoveries in the sciences of sound,
psychology, and superlearning to create a completely new, totally safe, and thoroughly effective “psychotechnology” that reprograms your subconscious in positive ways to achieve the goals you seek. Its natural approach avoids subliminals to guarantee a pleasant, life-changing experience.

Right now as I write this we are at civil war, liberalism verses conservatism and it seems like liberalism is winning. There is no doubt in my mind that liberalism embraces the concept of hate, while calling it tolerance. I look at what happened with Michele Bachmann the other night, on whatever late show that was, and think there is no excuse for that type of behavior. But then I remember NBC owns the program so again it makes perfect sense.

One of the movies I had, the emphasis on had, wanted to see was the new Muppet movie. However after reading some info on the movie I think I will pass. I was always a big Muppet fan so the movie looked interesting, mindless but interesting. Then I read the synopsis and decided it was nothing more than a hit piece on oil. Apparently the plot revolves around a greedy oil man, with the emphasis on shafting the small guy. All I see is more conservative bashing and the dream of “green” utopia. Too bad utopia is only a myth and not reality. Oh wait to the liberal mindset utopia is reality as long as the political elite can confiscate everything the real working American owns. Wasn’t it Margret Thatcher who said “The problem with socialism is you soon run out of other people’s money.”?

For too long the honest people of this country has been lied to and manipulated, with the perfect example of this being the Occupy movement. I read a news article which states that the movement is planning to protest shopping, specifically Black Friday, but perhaps all shopping. If I read the article correctly (that is between the lines) Christmas is evil and must be eliminated at all costs. So I have to ask myself did not these “children” get all the Christmas gifts they ever wanted. Probably, but they seem to forget this country runs on capitalism not the utopia of fantasy land. But when have facts ever mattered to the liberal mindset?

I’m a simple man who believes in God, country, and Mom’s Apple pie, or Cherry pie if you prefer. However lately I don’t have any faith in the country or its leaders, on all sides of the isle. I sure as hell don’t trust the main stream media and anything they report. All I see these days are lies, more lies, and downright lies, which is referred to as truth in reporting.

As we go into this holiday season I must force myself to remember all the good things I have been blessed with. Sometimes it’s not easy to think of the good when one is constantly surrounded by the lies and hate of the political elite. Still I persist in thinking on the good but it strains my brain to the limit.

I know I sound very negative in this post and I guess I am. I guess I have every reason to be negative with all the stress being put upon, not only us but everyone this year. It just seems life is testing us to see just how worthy we are of moving up to the next level. I feel like I am failing miserably.

Then I remember something: A hundred years from now everything we are experiencing today will mean nothing, absolutely nothing. So I guess I really have nothing to worry or stress  about at all, do I?
